The Stedelijk Museum is Amsterdam’s museum of modern and contemporary art and design, founded in 1874. The museum was reopened in 2012 after renovation. Just like the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum it is located on the Museum Square in Amsterdam.
During the last century the Stedelijk Museum was internationally regarded as one of the most influential museums of the 20th-century art. Since 1909 it contained a collection of contemporary art and later photography and design. During this guided museum tour you will get to see the works of great artists like Picasso, Mondrian, Kadinsky and Rietveld.
